Please read the following before registering your child for the Safe Sitter Essentials Course:

• A great deal of information is presented in a short period of time during the Safe Sitter® course. We want every child to succeed in the course, and we will work with you to make alternate plans if your child has difficulty keeping up. Please contact us BEFORE REGISTERING if there is anything about your child that we should know or if your child needs special accommodations so we can be sure we are the right facility for your child’s training.

• This course covers some topics which children may be sensitive to including first aid topics where small amounts of blood may be shown on video and how to handle children throwing up.

• There is no age that students are automatically ready to babysit. Babysitting is a big responsibility and all tweens and teens need maturity and confidence to take on that responsibility. They also need an interest in caring for children, as well as appropriate training. Finally, it is important that parents of a prospective babysitter agree that their child is ready to take on this responsibility, and be available to support them as needed.
• Please read and complete the Safe Sitter student registration form. You will need to upload this completed form during your registration. If you prefer to pay in-person, please contact us to schedule a time to drop off the registration form/payment at our office in Longwood/Lake Mary, FL.
