Who should take the AHA Heartsaver courses?

The AHA Heartsaver classes are intended for non-medical personnel who need a CPR and/or First Aid Certification. This course is most often taken by teachers, daycare employees, lifeguards, boat captains, personal trainers, babysitters, high school students, new parents, or anyone who needs a CPR certification that doesn’t plan on working in a healthcare field. Note: If you are medical personnel, intend to work in a hospital, or are a student going into any medical profession, you should register for the AHA BLS CPR class instead.

*If you are looking for a United States Coast Guard (USCG) approved CPR course, please read about the requirements first and contact us after registering so we can make sure we have your completed documentation for you the day of your class.

How do I complete a Blended Learning/Hybrid AHA Heartsaver course?

We also offer all AHA Heartsaver classes in a blended learning hybrid format. This means you purchase and complete the majority of the class online at home at your own pace.

Once finished, you still need to complete the hands-on skills portion ($55) which is done in-person at our office with an instructor to receive your official AHA Heartsaver certification. The certification you receive by doing the hybrid version is identical to the certification you would receive from taking the class completely in-person.
