Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Skills - in Longwood, FL (near Orlando)

The Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) course is for healthcare providers who work in an area that is responsible for the anticipated resuscitation of the newborn and completing the NRP Skills Session is a crucial component of neonatal care. You must purchase and complete the NRP course from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) NRP Platform prior to registering for the NRP skills check-off.

After completion of Part 1, you have 90 days complete Part 2 (the hands-on skills check-off). There are NO exceptions (this is a requirement by the American Academy of Pediatrics!). Our classes fill up VERY quickly so we recommend you register as soon as you complete the online course to reserve your spot. You must complete the payment below to reserve your seat – registrations through the NRP platform are not confirmed until payment is received. Online registration closes 24 hours prior to class start OR when the class is full. Registrations not completed on our website are NOT guaranteed and are charged an additional $25 late fee if an instructor is available.

  • You must have already purchased and completed the AAP Online NRP Course - Part 1 at home prior to in-person skills check-off (Part 2)
  • You must upload your completion certificate from your NRP Part 1 Online Course during registration which MUST have been completed within the last 90 days
  • Your NRP Certification typically shows up within your account on the AAP NRP Platform within 48 hours of completing your skills check-off (PLEASE ENSURE YOU REGISTER WITH THE EMAIL ADDRESS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR NRP ACCOUNT TO AVOID DELAYS!)

On the login page, click Register Now. After registering your account on the NRP Learning Platform, your global ID provides single sign-on convenience that captures all learner activities and credentials.

The NRP 8th Edition

The NRP 8th edition offers two new levels of learning: NRP Essentials and NRP Advanced. The NRP Essentials course covers lessons 1-4 of the NRP 8th Editiion textbook. The NRP Advanced course covers lessons 1-11. The NRP Essentials course is for anyone who is involved in the care of a newborn. The NRP Advanced is appropriate for those who attend births and are responsible for resuscitation of a newborn, and for those who participate in neonatal resuscitation beyond positive pressure ventilation. If a healthcare professional is unsure about which level to take, then you should take the NRP Advanced Course.
